I compensate alot

I am what you'd see an artist with kind of a realistic Point of View in terms of art.

Some people would tell me that I'm very talented or 'you're good' or 'you have great potential' and also the occasional silence. These kinds of words motivated an artist in getting better in his field.

But I have never considered myself good, talented or having potential. I consider myself as a student that will never graduate in the field of art. I'm not talented at all, but I compensate by studying alot and practicing alot. As long as I keep practicing I feel a little more confident everytime...

The hand in this one is annoying

I feel the arms and the hair are lacking.. .Might add a bracer or something on the hair... :D

Went to adjusting the mask, the chest piece, and the skull.... Haven't much done yet.

I'm a big fan for Warhammer 40k Universe, especially the video games. My favourite unit of all of them was the 'Vindicare Assassin'. Then I read the lore. And they just got alot cooler.

They are basically cliche trainedtobeanassassinsincebirth type of guys. But given that they use them for a purpose in the dark universe of W40k. It seems like abducting an orphan puts morals aside in this W40k.

And since I just got my Awakening: Art of Halo 4. It seems like it's the perfect time to create my own version of these vicious beasts.

At first I incorporated a bit of Spartan Mjolnir II armor designs from Halo 4...

Then I thought It was too bulky for a master markmsman so I ook some of the platings out just leaving the Synskin. Only some though I like the Left shoulder plating and the Chest plate. Also minimized the leg plates to be give my assassin more mobility.

Now I'm just thinking if I should incorporate giving it a cloak or not... Felt like the cloak is a tad bit off tho... But..kinda works. a bit... I think I'm going for the one without though

LOL! It has been like ages since I last updated. Been studying alot on my freetime, some of my officemates gave me some tips as well so it has really been a very 'learn-y' experience ever since!

Well.. Bloody Hell

It's been so long since I updated my blog... So much happening at work that I can't really get the chance to update it.

Given that I can't get enough time to finish my traditional oil paints anymore, though I have been working with some digital works lately (given that it's what we do at my job).


Here's what I've been doing. (In order of when I made them)

My First Digital painting that I recognize as "Successful". Because before my job  I never ever did digital painting. But because of necessity of the current situation I am forced to learn and It wasn't that bad at all. I still prefer traditional though.

This one is the picture when I replaced by Graphire 4 tablet(R.I.P) to a Bamboo Pen & Touch, And by GOD! The pressure sensitivity is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyy different compared to the graphire. 

 This one is based on the Sylvari of Guild Wars 2. I was just... Amazed on their concept, I thought that the concept for sylvari was like elves or something, but rather their concept was like (as I understand it) They are living moving plants! as if the plants evolved grew limbs and learned to talk. It's not that they talk to the trees fores or plants, They are the plants. And I was just amazed that.. It works, amazing.

This one is my digital painting based on Skyrim. I wanted to make the dragonborn a mage like figure but still menacing and faceless!

This is what I'm doing right now it's based on a pose from deviantart  (Forgot the name sorry). It's like she poses for drawing people.

So there we go an update. Finally got the time! and I shall try to update this bastard as much as I can, No promises!
